Don Titcomb captures the Kentucky State Title in his first attempt.
Titcomb defeated 5-time champ Ron Powell in a playoff rematch
after Powell had beaten Titcomb in round robin play. Titcomb said
the difference from the two games was that he was able to take the 
lead in the finals, whereas Powell claimed the early lead the first time. 

Don Titcomb's single defeat in round robin play was against Ron Powell. 
Powell defeated Titcomb by one point even though Titcomb converted 
34 straight ringers during the game. Powell's single loss came against
Lundie Blevins in the 3rd game of the tournament. Blevins defeated 
Powell 40-39 while averaging a strong 71.2%. Charlie Meredith's three
losses came against Powell, Titcomb and Randy Hankins.
